The water vole, common shrew, field vole and wood mouse are all well represented on the site, and there is considerable mole activity across much of the meadow.
The yellow-necked mouse has been trapped on the reserve; this species has a very local distribution in southern England. Fox, hare, weasel and stoat are all occasional visitors. Other species which have been recorded are the rabbit, water shrew, hedgehog, brown rat, roe deer, mink and 5 species of bat.
